Donghua University, formerly China Textile University, has been ranked No. 1 in the world for its textile science and engineering discipline for two consecutive years in the Soft Science Ranking. As a national "double first-class" construction discipline and key discipline, the college has a team of top scholars led by academicians, as well as the Key Laboratory of Textile Fabric Technology of the Ministry of Education.
