(hereinafter referred to as "Xin Sen Synthetic Fiber"), multi-hole fine denier silk, which is extremely light and soft and is mostly used for making close-fitting clothing.

This knitting and chemical fiber company "hidden" in Youxi County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, currently ranks fifth in production capacity in China and sixth in the world.

Only a road away from the Xin Sen Synthetic Fiber factory, Fujian Liu Rong Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Liu Rong Industrial") is under full construction, and as early as 2023, Liu Rong Industrial's 10,000-square-meter garment incubator has been officially put into production.

Xin Sen Synthetic Fiber and Liu Rong Industrial belong to Fujian Mingcan Group. "After the project is completed and put into production, we will realize integrated production of 'spinning-twisting-weaving-dyeing and finishing-printing-garment' in Youxi," said Chen Jingwei, Vice President of the Group and President of Liu Rong Industrial.

It is reported that Liu Rong Industrial is a key project introduced by the new Youxi County Party Committee and County Government from Shanghai. The vertical integrated intelligent factory it has established is the first attempt of its kind in the world for knitting and chemical fiber projects.

Sunscreen clothing, outdoor quick-drying clothing, yoga clothes... Walking in the exhibition hall of Liu Rong Industrial is like stepping into a world of clothing that combines fashion and practicality.

Before Liu Rong Industrial was put into production, the group did not have garment production capacity in the province. Taking advantage of the opportunity of Shanghai-Ming cooperation and responding to the call of "strengthening the chain and extending the chain", the group invested 3.5 billion yuan to build the Liu Rong Industrial project through its wholly-owned subsidiary Shanghai Youtai Jiameng Garment Co., Ltd. According to the plan, the project has a total construction area of approximately 350,000 square meters. After full production, it will produce more than 100 million garments annually, with an annual output value of 5 billion yuan, and can provide employment opportunities for 5,000 workers.

From yarn to garment, vertical integrated production串起一条产业链. In the past, companies needed to purchase caprolactam raw materials from Kemen Port in Lianjiang, Fuzhou, and Xiuyu in Putian, and then spin them in Youxi, then weave and dye them in Fuqing, and finally process them in garment factories in Jiangsu and Guangdong.

"Logistics and transportation, repeated quality inspections, standing, etc., packaging that is unpacked and unpacked, etc., are time-consuming, labor-intensive, and energy-intensive," said Chen Jingde, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of the Group. "Vertical integrated production greatly reduces packaging losses, transportation costs, and energy consumption in the balancing workshop." He cited an example that nylon yarn needs 24 to 48 hours of balancing process when it leaves the factory, and it needs to stand in a constant temperature and humidity workshop for balancing after being transported to the fabric factory. The space reduction of the balancing workshop and the reduction of air-conditioning energy consumption brought about by integrated production are very considerable. In addition, all quality inspection links in fabric and garment production can be combined into one, which can also greatly improve efficiency.

The textile industry is the largest pillar industry and the first 10 billion-level characteristic industrial chain in Youxi. At present, there are 57 textile enterprises above designated size in Youxi County, and the output value in the first half of this year was 7.873 billion yuan, an increase of 7.9% year-on-year.

"Next, we will accurately support 'chain owner' enterprises, promote cooperation between upstream and downstream supporting enterprises, and effectively realize the expansion and agglomeration of the textile industry." Luo Shaotang, Director of the Youxi County Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, said that in recent years, the textile industry in Youxi County has ushered in new opportunities for "Shanghai-Ming cooperation" and "mountain-sea cooperation", and has entered a new stage of industrial agglomeration.
